In the majestic realm of Uruspain, King Vygor ruled with wisdom and respect, with his queen, the elegant and cunning Afecta, by his side. Together, they led their kingdom into a golden era of prosperity and peace. However, an imminent darkness cast its shadow over the realm.

Lamento, an evil wizard, coveted the magical chess set that maintained harmony in Uruspain. In a bold move, Lamento challenged King Vygor to a game of chess, where the outcome would not only decide the fate of the kingdom but also the freedom of the nobles and the safety of the world. Unfortunately, King Vygor lost that match.

Lamento stole Gold from the treasury and hid it in the dungeons.

The nobles of Uruspain, each possessing unique chess-playing skills, rallied to the cause. Lord Cedric, a cunning strategist; Lady Bella Seraphina, a master of gambits; and Sir Reynald, renowned for his bravery and bold tactics. Using the Linares parchment with the assistance of the wizard Giovanni, they summoned a stranger from another world to replace the King in the matches and defeat Lamento in the final game, thus reclaiming the world's Gold.
